Mortgage license roster update: what changed since May

KeysAhead refreshed all seven state datasets and corrected duplicate and inactive-status handling. This report shows aggregate changes only; it does not publish a list of people whose records changed.

How to interpret the changes

A positive or negative number is not, by itself, a count of newly licensed or departed people. It combines source refreshes, state file scope changes, exact-duplicate removal, and corrected treatment of statuses such as inactive, expired, and “no business activity.”

The May baseline is the site's initial normalized dataset. The August snapshot uses California DRE, Florida OFR, Pennsylvania DoBS, Missouri Division of Finance, Connecticut Department of Banking, Massachusetts Division of Banks, and Colorado Division of Real Estate public files. Massachusetts is as of June 30; Connecticut is as of July 1; Colorado was generated August 23.

What improved for homebuyers

  • All seven full-roster states now have a documented refresh date.
  • Inactive and adverse statuses are excluded from the live-search seed.
  • Exact duplicate source rows no longer inflate totals or search results.
  • Every record with an NMLS ID links to the official NMLS Consumer Access entry.
